2009 Tournament Highlights
The 15th Annual “Labor of Love” Tennis Classic, played at Cedar Bluff Racquet Club on Saturday, April 25, 2009, was a “smashing” success. The Cancer Program at Mercy Health Partners will benefit from the proceeds. Money raised will be used for improvements in treatment, equipment and particularly in assisting indigent care patients.
We send a heartfelt thanks to all chairs, committee members, volunteers and Cedar Bluff Racquet Club who have given so freely of their time and leadership to make this event a success.
This year's event was chaired by Mary Slack. With the help of more than 75 community leaders and volunteers, 45 corporate sponsors and 112 players, we will be able to provide a generous amount of money for the Cancer Program at Mercy Health Partners. Thank you for your continued support and help in making the Labor of Love a continued success!
