Secret Safe Place for Newborns
If you are pregnant and desperate, please don't injure or abandon your baby. Within 72 hours of birth, you can surrender your baby to a designated Secret Safe Place for Newborns location. Your baby will receive immediate care and be placed as soon as possible in an appropriate home. St. Mary's and Baptist facilities are designated Secret Safe Place for Newborns locations.
As long as your baby is unharmed and you have acted within 72 hours of birth, you will not be prosecuted and are assured of complete confidentiality. Your baby, and your secret, will be safe. Please don't do something you will regret forever. A Secret Safe Place for Newborns of Tennessee is a safety net for you and your baby.
