Visitor Information

We love for you to visit. We believe your very presence aids in the healing of patients and supports their families.

We suggest a few guidelines when you visit the hospital:

  • Only two visitors with one patient at one time
  • All visitors must wear shoes and shirts
  • No smoking or eating in patient rooms
  • Do not visit if you have a cold or illness

Visiting Hours
For patients in Constant Care, visitation occurs in 15 minute intervals at:

  • 9 a.m.
  • 11 a.m.
  • 1 p.m.
  • 3 p.m.
  • 5 p.m.
  • 9 p.m.

After 10 p.m., the Main Entrance is locked. You can enter the hospital through the Emergency Department on the west side of the building.

Gift Shop
A gift shop is located in the main lobby. Flowers and gifts can be ordered and delivered to patient's rooms. Call (423) 907-1300.

Chapel
The chapel is also located in the main lobby and is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Ask Security to unlock the doors if you would like to enter after 9 p.m. A prayer book is inside to record prayer requests. Someone prays over those requests everyday. A Sister of Mercy or chaplain is available each day.

Patient Advocate
Emily Noss is available to answer your questions or talk to you about concerns. Just call her at 1447 from any hospital phone or at (423) 907-1447. Or by e-mail at enoss@mercy.com.
