Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center was designated as a Magnet organization in 2019 by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®. This prestigious designation recognizes excellence in nursing services. In March 2024, Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center is applying for redesignation.

News from Mercy Health — St. Rita's Medical Center
On Friday, March 15, Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center Graduate Medical Education Program will match 26 incoming physician residents across four programs.
The program allocates 12 one-time $1,500 scholarships to high achieving graduating high school seniors who plan to major in a medical-related field of study.
Pritikin ICR (Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation) Program is one of only three intensive cardiac rehab programs approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
