Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital will honor breast cancer survivors at a free luncheon Thursday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Robert Cherry Civic Center (2701 Park Ave, Paducah.)
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Mercy Health is celebrating by offering the special event for survivors and their families. Guest speakers at the luncheon will include Daniel Howard, M.D., of Mercy Health – Paducah General Surgery; Celia Parrott, PA-C, and Courtney LeNeave, RN, with Mercy Health – Lourdes Oncology Genetics; and breast cancer survivor Brenda Butler and her daughter Meagan Edwards.
The free lunch will be provided courtesy of Texas Roadhouse. Space is limited. Survivors may register for themselves and one guest by Oct. 17 by calling (270) 538-5867.
