Temporary Visitor Restrictions:

Patients in 3 South, 5 South, 5 Tower, 6 South and the Acute Rehabilitation Unit:

  • Patients may have up to one visitor at a time between the hours of 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Visitors for COVID-19 positive patients or those who are waiting on COVID-19 test results must be approved by manager.
  • All visitors to patients in ICU and PCU must be approved by ICU manager or charge nurse.

Emergency Department

  • A single companion may stay with the patient.
  • Suspected COVID-19 patients cannot have a companion stay with them.
  • Additional visitors will be asked to wait in their cars.
  • If the patient is being admitted, the inpatient guidelines apply

Same Day Surgery/Cath/EP/IR

  • A single companion may wait in the waiting room if space allows for social distancing. Otherwise, they will be asked to wait in their vehicle.
  • A single companion will be allowed in with the patient
  • If a patient is being admitted, the inpatient guidelines apply.

Blood Cancer Center

  • One visitor per day, during visiting hours of 9 a.m.–7 p.m.

Imaging Services

If assistance is needed, one caregiver may accompany the patient to the department and then wait in the waiting room if space allows for social distancing. Otherwise visitors will be asked to wait in their vehicle.

Outpatient Diagnostic Testing/Other Department appointments

  • Visitors or caregivers are allowed to stay in the facility if space allows.
  • If assistance is needed, the caregivers may help the patient get to the designated area but then must return to their vehicle.

End of Life Non COVID-19 patients

  • Up to 2 visitors or more may be approved by manager or clinical administrator
  • Visitors must enter through the main lobby during visitor hours or through the ED entrance 24/7.
  • Visitors remain in room until they are leaving the facility.

End of Life COVID-19 patients

  • Up to 2 visitors may be approved by manager or clinical administrator
  • Visitors must enter through the main lobby during visiting hours or the ED entrance 24/7.
  • Visitors must remain in room until they are leaving the facility.
  • Nursing will assist patient with donning and doffing PPE.

Screening & Mask Guidelines:

In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are recommended, but no longer required, in our facilities.

However, visitors should not visit patients if they have recently experienced a high-risk exposure to someone with COVID-19, a respiratory illness or other symptoms associated with COVID-19.

Parking

 

We’re pleased to offer free and convenient parking for patients and visitors in the garage adjacent to the hospital and outside the ED for Emergency patients.

 

Free Valet is available outside the main entrance.

Flowers, Packages, and Mail

 

We welcome flowers and packages for our patients from their loved ones. Please have flowers and other packages sent to the following hospital address:

All mail, packages and flowers addressed to patients will be delivered to their room. Mail received after a discharge will be forwarded to the patient’s home. Florists will be directed to deliver flowers received after discharge to the patient’s home.

The Jewish Hospital Cafeteria is located on the first floor.

Monday through Friday

Breakfast: 6:30– 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 10:30 a.m.– 2:00 p.m.
Dinner: 3:30– 6:30 p.m.

Weekends and holidays

Lunch: 11:00 a.m.– 2:00 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30– 6:30 p.m.

 

Vending Machines

 

Located in the cafeteria, vending machines are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Soups, sandwiches, other food items and beverages are available. You’ll also find a change machine and microwaves.

 

Lobby Latte

 

Located on the first floor below the main lobby. Serving beverages, snacks and pastries.

For your convenience, an automated teller machine (ATM) is located in the cafeteria on the first floor, near the main lobby.

The hospital is a tobacco-free facility. Smoking and tobacco products are prohibited on the hospital campus and cannot be used anywhere on our property, including the parking areas.
