Throughout the month:
Each year, on the first Friday in February, the American Heart Association asks everyone to wear red in support of the national movement to increase awareness of cardiovascular disease in women. Mercy Health employees, physicians and volunteers will show their support for women’s heart health on Friday, February 7, by wearing red.

Mercy Health facilities will feature giant red hearts that become visible on the buildings as the sun sets and glow throughout the night, spotlighting Heart Month.

Mercy Health wellness coaches are encouraging employees to eat well and exercise. In addition, physicians and staff throughout Mercy Health are forming Mercy Health Heart Mini teams and participating in activities to raise funds for the American Heart Association. Raffles and split the pot contests are just some of the fun fundraising activities taking place.
