Nationally Recognized Expert Presents a Seminar on "Incontinent-Associated Dermatitis" at Mercy Health - West Hospital on July 24

(CINCINNATI; July 16, 2014) - Mercy Health, which provides advanced, quality care with compassion in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that Mikel Gray, PhD, CUNP, CCCN, FAAN will present “Incontinent-Associated Dermatitis” on Thursday, July 24 from 8 – 9:30 a.m. and again from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Mercy Health – West Hospital Auditorium. West Hospital is located at 3300 Mercy Health Blvd, Cincinnati 45211

This program is open to nurses and clinical staff from acute care, long-term care, long-term acute care and home care. The presentations are free. Contact hours are not available or provided.

Gray, a nationally recognized and published expert, is a professor and nurse practitioner with the University of Virginia, Department of Urology and School of Nursing. Licensed as a family and pediatric nurse practitioner, he holds additional certification as a urologic nurse practitioner. He is Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing and a Board Member of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Society’s Center for Clinical Investigation. He has authored or co-edited three books and has authored more than 57 chapters and 115 articles in peer review journals. A Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, Gray is past president of the Society of Urologic Nursing and Associates and the Certification Board for Urologic Nurses and Associates. He has received awards for contributions to urologic and WOC nursing, respectively, and was named as the NACF Continence care Champion by WOCN in 2004.
