The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health Invites You to Learn About Cancer Prevention, Screenings and Treatments at Healthy Happy Hour Event on October 27

(CINCINNATI; October 20, 2015) – Mercy Health - Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that The Jewish Hospital Women’s Center is hosting a free Healthy Happy Hour event from 5:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27. The Women’s Center is located across the street from the hospital at 4700 East Galbraith Road, Suite 100, Cincinnati, 45236.

Spaces are still available for this free wellness evening, which includes:

In honor of October’s breast cancer awareness month, the theme of the event is education and prevention of all cancers, including breast cancer.

The presentation schedule follows below:
• 6-6:20 p.m., “I need breast surgery! What are my options? More than you know! - An educational session to understand the many different breast surgery options available.” Presented by breast surgeon Hilary Shapiro-Wright, DO, FACOS  

• 6:30-6:50 p.m., “Blood Cancers – What are they, how do I recognize them, what are my treatment options and am I a bone marrow match?” Presented by Edward Faber Jr., DO, MS.

• 7-7:20 p.m., “A cancer patient’s caregiver survival guide.” Presented by Lyn Sontag, PsyD, ABPP.
