The meeting will take place at the Mercy Health – Fairfield HealthPlex, located on the hospital campus at 3050 Mack Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014.

State Representative Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) announced in August that the Ohio House Healthcare Efficiencies Study Committee would hold four hearings around the state. The committee is examining healthcare efficiencies that lead to better health outcomes at a lower cost to Ohioans.

At the fourth and final meeting, Mercy Health North Market President and CEO will provide information on
population health management and other speakers will address children’s health and innovative medical savings.

Speakers at other hearings in the state have addressed graduate medical education, behavioral health and Medicaid and aging.

Speaker of the Ohio House Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) created the committee to examine healthcare models across Ohio that the House can help support and promote. The findings of the committee will potentially be used in legislation to be introduced later in the General Assembly.

Majority members of the committee include Steve Huffman (Chair), Andrew Brenner, Bob Cupp, Scott Ryan, Mark Romanchuk, Doug Green and Sarah LaTourette. Minority members include Christie Bryant Kuhns and Emilia Strong Sykes.

The committee welcomes media to attend the hearings.
