Healogics, Inc. Recognizes Mercy Health - Clermont Hospital Wound Care Center with National Award for Clinical Excellence

(CINCINNATI; June 17, 2016) - Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood though its care network, announces that Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital’s Wound Care Center has won the Center of Distinction Award from Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services.

The Wound Care Center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including a patient satisfaction rate higher than 92 percent and a minimum wound healing rate of at least 91 percent within 30 median days to heal. There were 512 Centers eligible for the Center of Distinction award and 221 achieved the honor.

Clermont Hospital’s Wound Care Center is a member of Healogics’ 800 center network, which provides access to benchmarking data and has proven experience treating approximately 2.5 million chronic wounds. The Wound Care Center offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and other chronic wounds which have not healed in a reasonable amount of time. Advanced treatments include negative pressure wound therapy, bio-engineered skin substitutes, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, biological and biosynthetic dressings and growth factor therapies.
