The popular walks take place every other Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at the mall, which is located at 7875 Montgomery Road. Walkers will meet at The Jewish Hospital’s Walk with a Doc booth located in front of Anthropologie near Nordstrom’s inside entrance. New walkers get a free t-shirt and a pedometer to log their steps.
Mercy Health Physicians provider Jessica Pykosz, PA-C, who practices from Mercy Health - Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center locations in Rookwood and Anderson, leads the Thursday, July 13 walk from 9-10 a.m. She will discuss conditions that affect the knee, including meniscal injuries, patellofemoral pain (pain in the front of the knee) and early stages of arthritis.
Mercy Health Physician and colon and rectal surgeon John P. Cullen, who practices from Mercy Health - General and Laparoscopic Surgery, Kenwood, leads the Thursday, July 27 walk from 9-10 a.m. He will discuss the causes, symptoms and treatment options for hemorrhoids.

The program is free and does not require pre-registration.
“The Jewish Hospital’s Walk with a Doc series draws a growing group of health-conscious women and men who can ask questions of Mercy Health’s medical experts while learning about a wide variety of topics and getting some exercise,” said Pat Davis-Hagens, Mercy Health Central Market President and CEO of The Jewish Hospital. “We hope you’ll join us!”
