Mercy Health’s multidisciplinary team is comprised of radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, medical physicists, and specialized nurses who work together to create the Gamma Knife® treatment plan and perform the procedure.
The Gamma Knife® program is co-directed by Peter Fried, MD, radiation oncologist with OHC (Oncology Hematology Care) and Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at The Jewish Hospital — Mercy Health, and Ronald E. Warnick, MD, a neurosurgeon with the Mayfield Brain & Spine who has performed over 2,900 stereotactic radiosurgery procedures in the past 26 years.
