CHP, markets receive numerous awards from Premier

Cincinnati, OH (June 11, 2014) -- Catholic Health Partners and its markets received a number of awards at Premier’s 2014 Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in San Antonio on June 11. Premier, a leading healthcare improvement company, unites an alliance of about 3,000 U.S. hospitals and 110,000 other providers.

Catholic Health Partners, as a system:

Won Premier’s Supply Chain Excellence Award for superior supply expense performance measured through SupplyFocus®.

Was recognized with an honorable mention for Premier’s Member Diversity Award for important contributions in developing and nurturing diversity programs in its organization and communities.

Individual awards included:

Mercy St. Charles Hospital received a Supply Chain Excellence Award for superior supply expense performance measured through SupplyFocus®.

Mercy Tiffin Hospital received a Supply Chain Excellence Award for superior supply expense performance measured through SupplyFocus®.

Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital was a QUEST® Award for High-value Healthcare finalist for achieving top performance in at least five of any of the six areas measured in QUEST (mortality, harm, readmissions, costs, patient experience and evidence-based care).

Mercy Allen Hospital was a QUEST® Award for High-value Healthcare Citation of Merit recipient for achieving top performance in at least four of any of the six areas measured in QUEST (mortality, harm, readmissions, costs, patient experience and evidence-based care).

Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital was a QUEST® Award for High-value Healthcare Citation of Merit recipient for achieving top performance in at least four of any of the six areas measured in QUEST (mortality, harm, readmissions, costs, patient experience and evidence-based care).

Mercy St. Anne Hospital was a QUEST® Award for High-value Healthcare Citation of Merit recipient for achieving top performance in at least four of any of the six areas measured in QUEST (mortality, harm, readmissions, costs, patient experience and evidence-based care).
