2013 Legends of St. Rita's

Tim Mosher

Tim Mosher

Tim is truly a legend within our organization, our community as well as global settings. Tim’s compassion, caring and leadership is demonstrated thru the many hats he has worn throughout the years. From his years as a staff RN both at St. Rita’s Medical Center and Lima Memorial, Tim could always be counted on to provide compassionate and skilled care to both patient and families that he came in contact with. In his role as a paramedic, firefighter and ultimately fire chief at Shawnee Twp. Fire Department his dedication to both his community and his fellow firefighters was clearly evident. Tim has participated in many mission trips to Haiti and other locations to work as an RN. Tim's most recent call was from Samaritan's Purse to help with the Ebola epidemic in Liberia. Samaritan's Purse knew only a few people had the experience, character and skill for such an assignment. While there, Tim was part of the historic first treatment with ZMapp. In a recent Lima News article Tim is quoted as saying “Once I made up my mind, there was no turning back. I was all in” and he knew that Liberia was where God was calling him to be so he set out on an adventure of a lifetime. There is no greater testament to the person that Tim is as he put his own safety and health aside in order to serve those in need. In his new role as a Nurse Practitioner he will continue to serve his community and our organization with the outmost kindness and consideration. Tim never expects to get credit for his actions that have impacted many lives over the years.

We are proud to name Tim Mosher
