Applications now available for St. Rita’s Health Partners 2017 Volunteen Program

(Lima, February 7, 2017) Applications are now available for St. Rita’s Health Partners’ 2017 Volunteen Program. Volunteens are high school students between 14–18 years of age who volunteer a minimum of 40 hours over the summer months to assist in a variety of needs in St. Rita’s medical facilities. The program offers an opportunity to preview careers in the healthcare field.

Volunteens could perform a variety of services during their time at St. Rita’s including: research projects, patient transport, clerical/administrative duties, stocking supplies, grounds keeping, creative projects and much more. Volunteens will gain work experience and educational opportunities (tours and hands-on learning). Participating in the program also helps to enhance college and scholarship applications and helps teens with making career decisions in the future.

The application can be found online at www.mercy.com > News and Events > Events > Applications now available for St. Rita’s Health Partners 2017 Volunteen Program. Applications will be accepted until March 10, 2017. To view to application click here.
