Dale Gisi promoted to President, Mercy Health - St. Rita's
Dale Gisi, formerly President of St. Rita’s Medical Center, has been promoted to serve as President, Mercy Health St. Rita’s. In this new role, Gisi will provide oversight for the Lima region, including all of its services located across the 10-county area.
Dale Gisi joined Mercy Health in 2014 as Vice President of Operations at St. Rita’s Medical Center and was promoted to President of the Medical Center in 2016. He is responsible for several clinical and nonclinical areas, including surgical services, cardiovascular services, medical imaging, facilities and plant operations and pharmacy.
During his time at St. Rita’s, Dale has facilitated the successful implementation of the Dyad Service Line Leadership model; has worked closely with an extended network of physicians to make St. Rita’s a preferred hospital partner; and has lead successful outreach and growth initiatives. His most recent success is the formation and launch of the Neuroscience Institute, where previously segmented services now come together providing seamless and integrated care across departments. Dale has also been active in supporting the community through his work with various community agencies and organizations.
Gisi joined Mercy Health after 13 years with Regional Health in South Dakota. He has more than 22 years of executive and operational experience in healthcare. Gisi has a degree in Healthcare Administration and holds certifications as a Senior Professional of Human Resources and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
