An intensivist is a physician who specializes in caring for a critically ill or injured patient. All neurological patients in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit are managed by an intensivist and treat:

Interventional Radiology 

Interventional radiologists are physicians with specialized training to utilize minimally-invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases in nearly every organ system.  In the past, certain conditions that would have required open surgery such as aneurysms and vascular malformations of the head can now be considered for a minimally invasive treatment using an endovascular approach to reach the problem.
