Quality spine care relies on support from many areas both inside and outside the hospital, including:
Diagnostics: Our testing and diagnostic procedures will assist your physician in diagnosing your specific condition. Tests may include X-ray, MRI, CT scan, CT myleogram, bone scan or EMG.
Pain Management Services: A comprehensive evaluation, anesthetic injections and an oral pain medication regimen will help keep your pain under control.
Spine Services: An evaluation by spine specialists with both neurological and orthopedic backgrounds will help determine the most effective medical and surgical treatment options for you.
Spine Navigator: This specially-trained nurse will guide you through the process from pre-op to home, providing education and support throughout your surgical experience.
Spine Camp: An educational program offered before surgery to help you better understand your procedure and prepare you for your postoperative care. This program is available at the hospital or online at Mercy.com/Youngstown/spine. Register for Spine Camp (class) by calling, Diana Kelly at: 330-480-2319.
