The Assumption Village offers both assisted living and long-term nursing care for patients in a comfortable and warm atmosphere. It is Medicare and Medicaid approved. Three separate individualized nursing units provide care for patients who require IV therapy and wound management, dementia therapy and intermediate care.

Assisted Living

The 48 apartments located in the Marian Living Center at The Assumption Village are designed for senior citizens who need assistance with daily living. Residents have their own apartment, which they furnish and decorate themselves. Twenty-four hour supervision is available to our assisted living residents from registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and state tested nursing assistants. Activities, meals, personal care, housekeeping services, transportation to physician appointments, medication management and religious services are also provided.

Skilled Care Unit

This unit provides extensive nursing care to residents who have specific skilled nursing needs such as daily injections, IV administration, enteral feeding, wound care and physical/occupational/speech therapies.

Special Care Unit

This unit is designed to meet the distinct needs of residents with various forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. In order to provide comfort and safety for these residents, careful consideration was given to the programs, layout, design and interior decor in the unit. Its unique design affords residents with dementia the potential to achieve optimal quality of life.

Intermediate Care Unit

Residents in the intermediate-care unit enjoy residential living in a warm, homelike atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to strive to maintain their independence and self-reliance while having full access to necessary services and assistance in daily activities.
