Infectious Diseases Specialist Joins Mercy Health Physicians
Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that infectious diseases specialist Dheeraj Goyal, MD, MPH, joined Mercy Health Physicians.
Dr. Goyal completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He holds a Master of Public Health (Health Management and Policy) from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Goyal also completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, and he participated in an infectious disease fellowship at University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Goyal routinely reviews clinical research articles for scientific journals such as Annals of Internal Medicine. His research on community acquired resistant urinary tract infections was recently invited for presentation at this year’s Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) meeting in San Diego, California. He is also an inducted member of Delta Omega Honorary Society of Public Health.

Dr. Goyal began seeing patients in August 2017 and practices from Mercy Health – Fairfield Infectious Disease, located at 3000 Mack Road, Suite 120, Fairfield, OH 45014.
