The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health Continues its Speaker Series at the Mayerson JCC on Tuesday, March 7 with Discussion on How to Find Relief from Knee Joint Pain

Mercy Health - Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health’s free speaker series continues at the Mayerson JCC on Tuesday, March 7 with “Live without joint pain: Ways to help you get back in motion,” a discussion on knee joint pain. The Mayerson JCC is located at 8485 Ridge Road, Cincinnati 45236.

If aching knee joints are keeping you from doing what you love, you may be surprised to learn that getting back to an active life is still within your reach. Since the knee brings together muscles, ligaments and bones, it is highly susceptible to pain and injury. Regular low-impact exercise and healthy diet can help maintain the mobility of this joint over time.

Join The Jewish Hospital — Mercy Health and Mayerson JCC as we talk about arthritis and joint pain in the knee. This informative and engaging discussion will give you a better understanding of the causes, treatment and relief for knee arthritis. The presentation and Q&A will be led by board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and The Jewish Hospital chief of staff Michelle Andrews, MD.

The program begins at 5:30 p.m. with appetizers and refreshments, followed by the discussion, which runs from 6-7 p.m.
