The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health Offers Twice Monthly Walk with a Doc Sessions at Kenwood Towne Center in August
Mercy Health - Cincinnati, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that The Jewish Hospital continues its free Walk with a Doc program at Kenwood Towne Center with two sessions in August.
The popular walks take place every other Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at the mall, which is located at 7875 Montgomery Road. Walkers will meet at The Jewish Hospital’s Walk with a Doc booth located in front of Anthropologie near Nordstrom’s inside entrance. New walkers get a free t-shirt and a pedometer to log their steps.
Mercy Health Physicians and cardiologist Jon Rapp, MD, who practices from Mercy Health – The Heart Institute locations in Rookwood and Wyoming, leads the Thursday, August 10 walk from 9-10 a.m. He will discuss symptoms and treatment options for heart valve disease.
Mercy Health Physician and family medicine provides James Krempasky, DO, who practices from Mercy Health – Milford Family Medicine, leads the Thursday, August 24 walk from 9-10 a.m. He will discuss the physical and mental benefits of staying active.
Led by a variety of physicians and other health professionals representing a wide array of health, wellness and fitness-related expertise, the walks start with a brief and informative talk on the doctor’s area of specialty before walking.
The program is free and does not require pre-registration.
