(El programa de la Salud del Hispano)

The Hispanic Health Program is designed to help the Hispanic and Immigrant community have access to medical care, social services, health education, health screenings and prescription assistance for those who quailfy. Health screenings and classes are provided at restaurants, churches, community centers and organizations. A variety of basic health classes are provided such as, hand washing, dental care, baby care, Health at Home, Healthy Eating, "What to Do When Your Child is Sick" and "What to Do When You're Having a Baby".
Assistance is given with medical appointments and information on services and programs is provided. The program provides clients with a medical interpreter during appointments at St. Elizabeth Youngstown's Family Health Center and  St. Elizabeth Youngstown's Ambulatory Care Center.
