The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health has completed construction on a new cancer care outpatient infusion suite located on the hospital campus at 4777 E. Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236. The suite opened on Monday, April 11.

“We are grateful to our generous donors and our Auxiliary, whose support helped make our new outpatient infusion suite a reality,” said The Jewish Hospital President Michael Kramer. “This space allows us to offer more infusion services to patients, increasing their access to receive the medications that treat their cancers.”

The 15,400 square foot outpatient infusion suite expands the services available from The Jewish Hospital — Mercy Health Cincinnati Cancer and Cellular Therapy Center, the first and most experienced adult bone marrow transplant unit in the region. It includes areas dedicated to:

    • Four CAR-T treatment rooms
    • Three apheresis (blood cell collection) bays in collaboration with Hoxworth Blood Center
    • Two procedure rooms
    • Psychologist consultation room
  • Unit support
    • Classroom for patients, families and clinical staff

The $3.9 million project took 14 months to complete. Champlin was the suite’s architect and Schumacher Dugan was the construction firm.
