Welcome from the Program Director

Welcome to the Mercy Health Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship. Our fellowship provides robust training in all aspects of hospice, end of life, chronic and acute palliative care. The fellowship will prepare you for a career in community or academic hospice and palliative centers. The curriculum is built around your desired career path!

Mohammad Al-Nsour, MD | Program Director

Medical School: University of Jordan, Faculty of Medicine 
Internship: Zarga State Hospital
Residency: Internal Medicine, Providence Hospital and Medical Center
Fellowship: Hematology and Oncology, Providence Hospital and Medical Center

Dr. Al-Nsour has been the program director since the inception of the fellowship program. As a practicing oncologist he understands the important role the palliative care physician provides in holistic care to patients with life-limiting illness and their families.
