Meet Amanda

After growing up in the Midwest, I know there is nowhere else that I would want to live and take care of my patients. I graduated residency from Central Michigan University and moved to Toledo with my husband, who grew up in the area. I love taking care of women at all stages of their lives and really enjoy the relationships that I have developed with my patients since working for Mercy St. Vincent's Medical Center.

	August 2023 Dr. Whittaker is the best doctor I've had my entire life. As an overweight woman, it's nearly impossible to find a doctor who will take me seriously and not dismiss my symptoms. She treats me with respect, compassion, and does everything she can to help my problems. She had referred me to a specialist who didn't care enough to help me because of my weight, and said she'll take care of me so that I'll get the care I need. It's such a relief to be taken seriously that I got emotional when I left my appointment because I've had these issues for years and she's about to fix them in 2 appointments.
	August 2023 I would recommend Dr. Whitaker very highly!
