Meet John
I trained at Ohio State University and the Cleveland Clinic and spent most of my career at high-volume centers with highly complex cases. I invented the 5-box thoracoscopic maze, which is a closed-chest, port-access operation highly effective for treating atrial fibrillation. I have a broad skillset encompassing complex mitral repair, minimally invasive cardiac surgery and TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement).
