Meet Kathleen

I graduated from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in 2010. I have been employed with Mercy Health since 1999 and in the midwifery role since 2010. I am married and have 4 boys and still reside in Tiffin. I am very passionate about helping mothers and their babies achieve the healthiest delivery possible and encourage a joint communication and decision-making process during the pregnancy and labor.

	May 2023 Love how Kathy explains things in a way I understand! Puts my mind at ease especially for my first pregnancy!
	May 2023 Dr. Pool is great. She is always so kind and explains everything she is doing and why. She makes you feel comfortable and heard at your appointments.
	May 2023 We were discussing birth control and I was asked what I didn't like about it. She helped me further understand what I should expect, and also gave me advice on a few other options. I weighed my options and I decided to try what I had wanted first even though she advised me the patch doesn't stick very well. I did consider the Nuva ring, but there were just a little more concerns personally that was brought up and talked about. Like the fact it just sits in there. Lol. But she brought up how to use it before giving me the option to choose for myself. I appreciated her input and she wasn't pushy, or biased about it at all. She allowed me to make my own decisions even if it was against what she advised. And she even told me about other options like the depo shot. I appreciated her letting me choose what I wanted to try. That's a huge deal for me. She made me feel so comfortable about asking questions and about the different options. And we even discussed factors of if I were to end up pregnant. I feel as if it were to happen that I would be in good hands.
