"I'm Luis (Ken) Watanabe the new addition to the Pulmonary and Critical Care group at The Jewish Hospital/Kings Mills crew. I was born and raised in Lima, Peru where I completed my medical school, moved to Detroit for residency and did my fellowship in Chicago. I was a part of St. Elizabeth Physicians in prior to joining Mercy Health. I have a passion for obstructive lung diseases and overlap syndromes. I am married and have two wonderful kids."

He picked up on it and pointed it out and it did help calm me down. He is down to earth, straightforward, and reassuring in a fearful situation. Very pragmatic and nice. He took the information that I brought about our mold poisoning and was interested in seeing it. He did not just ignore it. I have only been to a pulmonologist twice, and that was with my husband when he had his biopsy with complications, and then was diagnosed with Stage IV adenocarcinoma the next, so I was fearful, and Dr. Tejada reassured me that what is happening around me, does not mean it will happen to me.Show less
