A native of Lancaster, OH I attended Xavier University for my undergraduate education. I fell in love with the City of Cincinnati and returned after completion of residency training. I enjoy working with pediatric and adult patients, performing a wide array of procedures, from the simple to complex. I place great importance on educating patients on their ailments and the healing process. I enjoy hiking, cycling, rock climbing and music.

	July 2025 Matthew Vajen, D.O. Was an excellent Doctor!!! He was very good at explaining my health situation. I could tell he was concerned and interested in helping me to understand and move forward in my treatment. He was very patient and took the time to listen to my concerns and to educate and guide me in the best direction. I am definitely pleased to have him as my ENT Specialist.
	July 2025 Very helpful on any questions that I ask
	June 2025 After the provider examined me, he offered to do a surgical procedure right away which would only take 15 minutes in order to resolve my condition. That was sooner than I expected ...so I didn't immediately ask all my questions like:" will I have to come back to have the stitches taken out?" "What will the recovery phase be like?" I'm glad he offered to do the procedure right away. However, I should have requested a few minutes to think it through.
