Meet Wynand
I was born and raised in South Africa, moved to Canada when I was 13. I started medical school in the Caribbean and finished in Chicago; completed my residency at Saint Elizabeth’s in Boardman in 2019. I spent the first years of my career in Rural Montana. I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages. I am an avid outdoorsman, and one of my favorite activities is sporting clays.

| July 2025 Dr. Nel is an outstanding physician. He is extremely knowledgeable and has exceptional communication skills. His level of empathy is greater than I've experienced elsewhere. Dr. Nel's ability to communicate clearly and directly without being brusque or insensitive is unique in my experience. He offers creative approaches and asks probing questions to fully understand my situation. I cannot say enough about my respect and admiration for him as a doctor. I would happily recommend him to my family and friends.PS: He also has a great sense of humor when apropos to the situation. |
