Home Infusion

Sometimes the best medicine is being in familiar, reassuring surroundings. That’s why St. Rita’s Home Infusion offers medications, nutrients and fluids in the comfort of your home.

Is home infusion right for you?

Home infusion from St. Rita’s is for any patient with the following:

  • Infection
  • Cancer
  • Pain control needs
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Nutritional needs (enteral/tube feeding or parenteral TPN)
  • Swallowing problems
  • Fluid replacement needs
  • Chronic bowel problems
  • Other illnesses

How does it work?

Our clinical pharmacist will partner with your doctor to develop your treatment plan. This plan is put in place and monitored by our highly skilled staff. We’re on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week if you need help.

If your treatment includes IV therapy on an ongoing basis, small portable infusion pumps are available that allow many patients to go about their normal daily activities as they receive treatment.

Enteral Nutrition Program

Sometimes people are unable to eat any or enough food because of a lack of appetite, difficulty swallowing or some other type of illness. This can happen to people of all ages. Enteral nutrition can be given through a tube or consumed orally.

Supplies can be delivered directly to your home and there is a simple reorder process. You will also receive follow-up calls from our staff to check on your progress.

Payment Information

Services may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial or private insurance plans. Our staff is happy to help with insurance paperwork and answer any billing questions you may have.
