The Brain Injury Support Group serves to provide a source of information, support, education, resources, and compassion for those individuals who have sustained a brain injury as well as those who care for someone who has.  This meeting is free to attend and is offered to the community as a way to further improve the quality of life for those directly impacted when a brain injury has occurred.

Meetings include a variety of topics ranging from speakers to open forum style/conversation to address any range of challenges which have surfaced.  Those who attend are welcome to share as much or as little as they would like and benefit from.  The group ranges in age and severity of deficits from very mild to very severe.  Additionally, those who attend may be several years post injury/illness or very early in the recovery process.

Meetings are held in the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December on the third Wednesday from 6-7 pm.  We meet in the Garden Conference Room at the Allison Radiation Oncology Center (just across from the St. Rita's Emergency Department).  The address is 803 West Market Street, Lima, Ohio 45805.  For more information, please call 419-227-3361 extension 7773.
