About Our Tennis Director

Jerry Howard comes to us with over 30 years of experience coaching city, state and national junior tennis champions. Nine of his students have won the Ohio High School State Tournament. Plus, his players have won NCAA national collegiate titles, played on the pro tour and been inducted into the Cincinnati Tennis Hall of Fame. Underlying this success, Jerry’s primary focus is on building character, developing potential and academic achievement.

As a player, Jerry was an All-Conference selection and Most Valuable Player at UNC-Charlotte. He later graduated from the academically prestigious University of California at Berkeley. He actively supports “grass roots” tennis programs for children at local playgrounds and schools.
