Free Smoking Cessation Classes
As part of Mercy Health’s commitment to fostering healthy communities, we will offer an eight-session, seven-week series of courses in October and November for those interested in quitting smoking.
The classes are free and take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Mercy Health Board Room on the second floor of the Marshall Nemer Medical Office Building (1532 Lone Oak Rd.) on the following dates:

• Thurs., Oct. 17
• Thurs., Oct. 24
• Thurs., Oct. 31
• Mon., Nov. 4
• Thurs., Nov. 7
• Thurs., Nov. 14
• Thurs., Nov. 21
With the support of smoking cessation counselors trained in the American Lung Association’s Freedom from Smoking program, Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital’s program caters to individuals who have made the decision and are ready to quit smoking. The program offers a structured, systematic approach to quitting, while emphasizing the benefits of better health.
All tobacco users who want to quit are welcome. RSVPs are required and class sizes are limited to the first 20 people.
