Getting help from each other – with those going through it with you
When you or someone you love is affected by cancer, community is what matters most. Mercy Health’s General Cancer Support Group works to connect patients, caregivers, and the bereaved with others for shared support, understanding and resources.
Support groups connect people affected by cancer and help them manage the challenges they may face. Support groups provide a place for people to give and receive emotional support and share information. Research shows that this kind of support has a positive impact on quality of life and emotional well-being.
General Support Group meetings are open to all types of cancer patients, cancer survivors, and caretakers.
Light refreshments will be served.
Meetings will be facilitated by oncology professionals.
