Saturday Childbirth Class
Out of an abundance of caution and Mercy Health's commitment to the safety and security of our community, we have decided to cancel the Saturday Childbirth Class event. This is consistent with current CDC guidelines to mitigate risk around COVID-19, especially for those in our area who are at a higher risk.
The most recent CDC guidelines can be found at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/specific-groups/high-risk-complications.html
According to the CDC, older adults and people with chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and lung disease should take extra precautions to avoid potential exposure. As a reminder, everyone can take daily precautions such as washing your hands often, using hand sanitizer, avoid touching your face, nose and eyes and avoid large gatherings where ventilation may be limited.
We apologize for the inconvenience that cancelling this event may cause, but are confident this decision is the right thing to do for the safety of our community.
