Mercy Health – Cincinnati Names Jon Labbe President of its Local Foundation

Mercy Health - Cincinnati has named Jon Labbe president of its local foundation.

 

“I’m pleased to announce that Jon Labbe has accepted the position of President of the Mercy Health Foundation – Greater Cincinnati,” said Mike Garfield, Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President, Mercy Health – Cincinnati. “I’ve seen first-hand his enthusiasm for our region and his commitment to achieving the Foundation’s goals to advance clinical care, improve access to care and build healthier communities.”

 

Labbe reports to Garfield and is responsible for leading the regional foundation, which partners with donors to make lives better and communities stronger, with a special emphasis on those who are poor or under-served. The foundation raises charitable funds for the not-for-profit programs and facilities of Mercy Health - Cincinnati, including hospitals, the senior living facility and community outreach programs. In 2016, the foundation raised over $5 million to further these efforts.

 

Labbe has been a member of the foundation leadership team since he joined Mercy Health as a director of operations for the foundation in 2014.

 

Previously, Labbe spent twelve years with the American Heart Association in a progressive leadership roles. Most recently, he was a vice president with responsibility for the AHA’s youth market program, leading his team to third in the nation for overall revenue growth over a three-year time period. 

 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in education and human development from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

 

Labbe lives in Deerfield Township with his wife and two daughters.
