St. Rita’s Health Partners Recognized as Community Value Five-Star Hospital

August 11, 2016, Lima, OH) St. Ritas Health Partners has been recognized as a Community Value Five-Star hospital by Cleverley + Associates, a privately owned healthcare consulting firm located in Worthington, Ohio, focused on financial strength services.

This ranking was based on the firms thirteenth annual Community Value Index (CVI) score, which measures the value a hospital has to its community.

We are honored to have received this award, Bob Baxter, President and CEO of St. Ritas Health Partners, said. Part of our mission is improving the health of our communities with emphasis on people who are poor and underserved. We feel that this award truly is a reflection of this commitment.

The CVI score assesses a hospitals performance in four different areas: financial viability and plant reinvestment, cost structure, charge structure and quality performance. These four areas suggest that a hospital should be operating with a high standard of community value, by providing a low cost and low charge, reinvesting back into their facility, while also providing quality care to their patients.

CVI scores are determined by combining the scores in each area. Hospitals that score in the top 20 percent are recognized as Community Value Five-Star facilities. St. Ritas is proud to have received these scores and this distinction.
