St. Rita’s to Raise Awareness on National Mammography Day
(Lima, October 19, 2016) Each year in October, every third Friday is National Mammography Day. Dr. Nicole Nelson, Medical Director of Radiology, will be available to discuss 3D mammography and the importance of your annual checkup at our Women’s Wellness Center at 770 W. High Street,
Suite 250 at 6:30 a.m. This will also provide an opportunity to show what 3D and Digital Mammography is like and how to schedule your appointment.
Our Women's Wellness Center has been designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology and has been accredited in all aspects of breast imaging including 3D and Digital Mammography and has been accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancers. We look forward to sharing with the community the importance of getting their annual checkup on National Mammography Day.
