Mercy Health is pleased to announce that a new family medicine location in Wapakoneta is now open!
Mercy Health – Wapakoneta YMCA Family Medicine is now offering full services from infant to geriatric care. Staffed by certified nurse practitioner Michelle Katterheinrich, the office is accepting new patients and will be accepting all insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid.
The practice is part of a larger renovation project the YMCA announced earlier this year that includes the addition of laboratory services and occupational health services within the YMCA building.
“I’m excited to begin working with the Wapakoneta community to continue helping them be well,” Michelle said.
Services offered at the new practice will include:
- Vision testing
- Wellness / health screenings, immunizations and vaccines
- Occupational Health services, including initial visits for Workers Compensation cases, Department of Transportation physicals as well as drug and alcohol screenings
