As Mercy Health continues to build a comprehensive network of care, the health system is pleased to announce that Orthopaedic Associates has chosen to affiliate with Mercy Health Lorain in opening two new practices in the Lorain and Oberlin communities. Coming this December, Mercy Health will open Mercy Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in partnership with Orthopaedic Associates’ physicians.
“This is another milestone for both our health system and our community,” said Edwin Oley, Market President at Mercy Health – Lorain. “Access to care and having a comprehensive network of services and providers allows families throughout Lorain County that ability to stay close to home without the need to travel.” He added.
As Orthopaedic Associates becomes integrated into the Mercy Health system, the team of providers will utilize the same electronic medical records, share in quality data and have access to a robust network of primary care providers and other specialists who together, care for the whole person. Additionally, these providers will perform procedures at the Premium Surgery Center in Elyria.
