This will allow for additional access to patients seeking neurology, podiatry, pain management care, and sports medicine as the former NSI providers and practices will utilize the same electronic medical records, share in quality data and have access to a robust network of primary care providers and other specialists who together, care for the whole person. Not to mention new technology such as Mercy Health’s virtual visit model and the Mercy Health mobile app.
“Our model of care at Mercy Health has always been centered around the patient,” said Mark Rau, vice president of operations, Mercy Health Physicians - Lorain. “I am extremely proud of the robust network of providers, both primary and specialty care and today, several more providers will be joining our team and further allowing patients in Lorain County to receive high-quality, compassionate care, close to home.”
Mercy Health and NSI have long had a positive impact on our community and together, both health providers share a singular focus: improving the health status of the families we serve.
