The Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes has unveiled the Little Miracles Recognition Wall on the second floor of Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital. The wall is located in the hospital’s Little Miracles Birthing Center.

The Little Miracles Recognition Wall was created as a way for individuals to commemorate births, honor loved ones and recognize caregivers by purchasing stars or clouds to be placed on the wall. Proceeds from the wall benefit the foundation’s Dr. Lisa Chaney Lasher Women’s Services Fund. The wall was a suggestion of Dr. Lasher and she helped choose its theme. Dr. Lasher passed away from cancer last June and now the fund supported by her idea bears her name.

“Dr. Lasher was a beloved OB/GYN in our community and was a driving force behind the Little Miracles Recognition Wall,” said President of the Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes Jessica Toren. “It’s only fitting that those who have a star or cloud placed on the wall are benefiting the Dr. Lisa Chaney Lasher Women’s Services Fund, which supports programs and the latest technology to provide comfort and care to women in our area.”
