About Lourdes Center for Sleep Disorders

Lourdes Center for Sleep Disorders delivers a comprehensive program for diagnosing and treating all major sleep disorders in adults and children. We’re accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Our Medical Director, William E. Hogancamp II, MD, is a board-certified sleep disorder physician.

What is a sleep study?

A sleep study is an overnight exam that lets doctors monitor your sleep. We’ll be able to see what’s happening in your brain and body. During a sleep study, you’ll sleep in a comfortable private bedroom with a homelike atmosphere. We’ll use special equipment to monitor your brain waves, breathing patterns, heart activity and muscle movements as you sleep. A technician will continually monitor the recordings and attend to your needs during the exam.

Stay in comfort and relax

Your stay with us includes:

  • home-like atmosphere
  • Private bedroom with a bathroom and TV
  • Snacks and caffeine-free beverages

What about insurance coverage?

Sleep disorder evaluation and treatment are covered by most insurance companies, including Medicare. We’ll work with you and your doctor’s office to verify your coverage before your appointment.

How do I make an appointment?

You’ll need a doctor’s order from your family doctor or a specialist to have a sleep study. Once we receive the order, we’ll contact you to schedule your sleep study. Sleep studies are conducted Mon.-Fri. Special arrangements can be made for shift workers.

Home Sleep Study (HST)

We can now test your sleep in the comfort and privacy of your own home if covered by your insurance. Call us for more information.
