When you walk into any Mercy Health Urgent Care, you’ll see this phrase on our lobby walls. But what does it mean for you, our patients who put your trust and confidence in our team?

  1. Exceptional care is quality care. While we understand you expect our care to be of the highest quality, it’s important you know quality and safety is the foundation for everything we do. Whether it’s determining whether your condition requires an antibiotic or other medications, ordering lab tests or X-rays, or referring you for additional treatment, our caregivers follow what’s called Evidence-Based Practice (EVP), a process of reviewing, analyzing and using the latest scientific evidence in your care.

We also monitor and regularly track several quality metrics, a way for us to constantly evaluate our clinical care. And each of our urgent care clinics undergoes a rigorous process to achieve national Urgent Care Association Accreditation. This voluntary process helps ensure our clinics provide the highest-level of safety and quality to our patients.
  2. Made for you is all about treating you (or your child) as an individual. Every member of our care team participates in what we call “experience training.” Here, we teach and practice customer service skills and work, as a team, to focus on how we can personalize our care and to provide superior service to every patient. Made for you is also our promise to value your time – and to deliver your care quickly and get you on the road to better health as soon as possible.
  3. We’ll always ask you to rate your experience, so we can always be improving. While we acknowledge we won’t always be perfect, our goal is to go above and beyond in the care and the service experience we provide.

Within a few minutes of leaving your urgent care visit, we will send you a survey and ask you a few short questions. We use your responses to continuously improve as Mercy Health Urgent Care and as an organization.
