Mercy Health – Cincinnati to Host Facebook Live Cooking Demonstration on Cancer-Fighting Foods on Monday, March 6

Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that it is hosting a Facebook Live cooking demonstration featuring cancer-fighting foods from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6.

Diana Weathers, a dietitian with Mercy Health, will join Susan Brown, executive director of Mercy Health - Cincinnati’s cancer service line, for an interview and cooking demonstration from the Cancer Support Community’s teaching kitchen.

Diana will bring samples of good to eat foods and Susan and Diana will discuss the value of these cancer fighting foods for the first 20-30 minutes. A cooking demonstration showing how to prepare those foods in a healthy way will follow the discussion. Recipes will be available during the webinar. Viewers will be able to present their questions to Diana directly on Facebook.

“Healthy eating can help reduce the risk for many things including diabetes, heart disease and cancer,” says Brown. “We at Mercy Health want to ensure that our community is armed with the latest information about cancer risk reducing foods and the best and most tasty ways to prepare these fabulous foods.”

If you can’t catch the demonstration live, it will be available for future viewing on Mercy Health – Cincinnati’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mercyswohio/
