Mercy Health – Cincinnati Hosts Community Health Forum on February 24

Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that it is hosting the first of a four-part series of health events called the Community Health Forum from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Saturday, February 24. The event takes place at Mercy Health’s Home Office in Bond Hill, located at 1701 Mercy Health Place, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237.

 

The Community Health Forums are free and open to the public and feature presentations and activities. The first forum’s focus is on diabetes and diabetes management. Presenters include:

  • Mercy Health Physician and internal medicine provider Kent Robinson, MD
  • Mercy Health Physician and internal medicine provider Keith Melvin, MD
  • Kurt Billups, founder and CEO of YEP Fitness
  • Antroinette Worsham, founder and executive director of T1DiabetesJourney, Inc.

 

YEP Fitness staff will lead an exercise demonstration and there will be free cholesterol and A1C (blood sugar) screenings for attendees, as well as the chance to win prizes.
