Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that Wayne Fraleigh has joined Mercy Health as Vice President of the Orthopedic and Neuroscience service lines. 

Fraleigh assumed his role with Mercy Health on June 25 and reports to Mike Garfield, Mercy Health – Cincinnati CEO and Senior Vice President. Fraleigh is responsible for setting and managing the orthopedic and neuroscience strategy, growth and program development for the region.  

He has experience in both the for-profit and not-for-profit health care sectors and served most recently as COO/Vice President of Operations of Ambulatory Services at Memorial Hermann in Houston, Texas and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for US Physical Therapy. Previously, he served as Regional President for Proaxis Therapy, Greenville, South Carolina and as Vice President of Operations for Howard Head Sports Medicine Center in Vail, Colorado.

“Wayne set up his divisions for success by collaborating with key stakeholders, standardizing best practices, developing strong leaders and driving key metrics. He will be responsible for the departments within our orthopedic product line as well as the lead and conduit in our great and ever growing neuroscience relationships,” said Garfield. “I’m pleased to welcome him to Mercy Health.”

Fraleigh holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona; a
Doctor of Physical Therapy with distinction from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science from the University of Arizona.  

He and his wife live in Loveland, Ohio and have two children.
